Garrett Kern, CFP®
Garrett plays a crucial role in supporting the firm’s lead advisors by ensuring every client is equipped wth the tools, strategies, and knowledge needed to achieve their goals. With a passion for problem-solving, he eagerly tackles challenging issues, always striving to find effective solutions.
Garrett graduated Cum Laude with Special Honors in Finance from Butler University in 2021. During his college years, he completed four internships, honing his professional skills and learning how to drive results for clients. Throughout this experience, Garrett also trained diligently as a sprinter, competed at the Division 1 level, and broke two school records as a member of the Butler University Track and Field Team. Garrett brings his competitive drive to work every day and relishes in delivering wins and breaking records for the firm’s clients.
In 2023, Garrett earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Certification, demonstrating his commitment to providing competent and ethical financial advice to clients as they work to achieve their goals.
Outside of Fi3, Garrett enjoys spending quality time with his family, maintaining an active lifestyle, and enduring the inevitable disappointment that comes with supporting the Cowboys. He is also a proud member of the Clarence A. Cook Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution and a continued supporter of Butler's Track & Field program.
